Barack and Michelle Obama are proving once again that laughter might just be the secret to a lasting marriage.
In a recent episode of “The Light Podcast: In My Opinion (IMO),” hosted by Michelle and her brother Craig Robinson, the former First Couple addressed the swirling internet rumors suggesting they were headed for divorce, and they did it with their signature wit and charm.

“Wait, you guys like each other?” Robinson asked playfully as Barack joined the conversation. Michelle responded with a grin, “Oh yeah, the rumor mill.” Without missing a beat, the former president chimed in, “She took me back. It was touch and go for a while.”
For months, speculation about the Obamas’ relationship had been making rounds on social media, largely due to Michelle’s absence from high-profile events such as Donald Trump’s inauguration and Jimmy Carter’s funeral.
The gossip gained traction, but this podcast episode marked the first time both Barack and Michelle addressed the topic together and made it clear that the rumors couldn’t be further from the truth.
Michelle has previously dismissed such gossip, pointing out the assumption that her life choices signaled marital strain. “We are 60, y’all… we don’t Instagram every minute of our lives,” she remarked.
