After making Filipinos laugh and cry at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) and earning Vice Ganda the Best Actor award, the much-anticipated 2025 film, “Call Me Mother,” is now ready to reach audiences across the United States.
Fans no longer need a passport to experience the Filipino hit, as TFC excitedly announced on social media. “Passport? Passport! Hindi na kailangan ng passport dahil mapapanood niyo na ang #CallMeMother starting January 9, 2026 sa UNITED STATES OF AMERICAAA!”
The film, starring Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre, is now screening in multiple states, including California, Hawaii, Nevada and Texas.

Key screening locations include California’s Century Laguna 16, Century 20 Great Mall, Maya Pittsburg Cinemas 16, Century 25 Union Landing, Southbay Pavilion XD and Century Riverpark 16.
In Hawaii, fans can catch the film at Consolidated Pearlridge West, Consolidated Ward Stadium 16, Consolidated Kapolei 16 and Consolidated Mililani 14.
Nevada will screen the film at Century Orleans 18, while Texas audiences can head to Cinemark Legacy 24.
“Call Me Mother,” directed by Jun Robles-Lana, tells a story of identity and family. Adoptive queer mother Twinkle, played by Vice Ganda, reaches out to his son’s biological mother Mara to finalize an adoption that will allow him to bring his son abroad for a new job.
But there’s a catch: Mara will only sign the adoption papers if Twinkle helps her win the country’s biggest beauty pageant.
