However, Rodrigo, who won the 2022 Best New Artist award, did not attend the Grammys, as she had no nominations and was not scheduled to perform or present. Since she didn’t release any new music during the eligibility period, she was absent from the ceremony despite her previous recognition.
Fans, though, won’t have to wait too long for Rodrigo’s return to the music scene and the Grammys. She has been actively teasing her third studio album, colloquially referred to as “OR3,” a follow-up to her GUTS era.
While no official title or release date has been announced, updates shared in late 2025 suggest a new era is on the horizon.
In addition to the upcoming studio project, Rodrigo released a live album, “Live from Glastonbury,” in December 2025.
She has also been sharing glimpses of studio sessions on Instagram, fueling speculation that new music could arrive sooner than fans expect. With the GUTS era officially concluded, Rodrigo is now ready to explore a fresh chapter in her career.
