“Diamonds in the Sand” stars Japanese actor Lily Franky and Filipino actress and Binibing Pilipinas Universe titleholder Maria Isabel Lopez.

The film will close out the second night of the event, followed by a Q&A session with Victoria and Lopez.

Debuting in 2025, NVAAFF partners with Napa Valley College to “uplift storytellers, educators, epicureans and tech innovators.”

The festival also partners with various local restaurants and small businesses, boosting the Napa Valley community at large.

This year’s theme celebrates Asian American women in film, with screenings of films led by women, followed by Q&A sessions with the filmmakers.

Other titles on the lineup include “Rental Family,” directed by HIKARI, “Warrior, Who Are You?,” directed by Hoang Vinh Loc and “F*cktoys,” directed by Annapurna Sriram.
