On an episode of New Heights, the podcast Kelce hosts alongside his brother Jason Kelce, the conversation unexpectedly turned emotional when professional golfer Rory McIlroy reflected on what makes weddings feel unforgettable.
McIlroy compared the feeling to organizing “Champions Dinner at the Masters,” explaining how surreal it is to look around a room filled with people who shaped different chapters of your life.
According to the golfer, there are few moments that can rival the emotional weight of seeing childhood friends, family members, mentors and longtime supporters all together in one place.
“Travis, you’ll feel this this year whenever you’re sitting at your wedding, and you have all the people in a room. It’s amazing to have all these people in the same room from your childhood. And it’s surreal. It’s unbelievable,” McIlroy shared in the podcast.
He added, “The only thing that I can compare it to is your wedding day because it’s like all this collection of people in the same room.”
Kelce, smiling through the exchange, gave a short response that instantly sparked buzz online, “I can’t wait.”
