After months of keeping a relatively low profile, Filipino American rapper EZ Mil has officially returned with a new release that puts his heritage front and center once again.
The Las Vegas-based artist wrote, performed and produced the track “Leon (Ka).” Unlike many of his previous releases, “Leon (Ka)” is performed entirely in Tagalog, serving as a tribute to the Philippines and the culture that continues to influence his artistry.
“Leon (Ka)” is expected to be the first in a series of upcoming releases, signaling that the rapper is preparing for a more active chapter following his recent collaborations and appearances.

His last major release came earlier this year through his Lunar New Year Freestyle, a short performance that reignited interest in his music by showcasing his signature combination of melodic delivery and intricate bars.
EZ Mil also expanded his global reach in 2024 after appearing on “The Death of Slim Shady,” the chart-topping album by Eminem.
On the track “Head Honcho,” he switched seamlessly between English and Tagalog, introducing more international listeners to his bilingual style while representing Filipino rap on one of hip-hop’s biggest releases.
