Jin becomes fourth BTS member to join Spotify’s Billions Club

BTS’ Jin became the fourth member of the K-pop supergroup to join Spotify’s Billions Club with his single, “Don’t Say You Love Me.”

The track officially surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, making it Jin’s first solo song to achieve the feat. He joins fellow BTS members Jungkook, Jimin and V, who have previously earned entries into the streaming platform’s exclusive club through their individual releases.

Spotify recognized “Don’t Say You Love Me” among its latest Billions Club additions in August, celebrating songs that have reached the billion-stream mark. The platform shared the announcement with the message, “Great songs never go out of style. Welcome these classics into the Billions Club.”

Released as the lead single of Jin’s second solo EP “Echo” in May 2025, “Don’t Say You Love Me” continued to gain traction globally after its release. The song reached one billion streams approximately one year and three months after its debut.

The pop track also made its presence felt on international music charts. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 90, becoming Jin’s third solo appearance on the main singles chart. Meanwhile, Echo debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Prior to reaching the billion-stream milestone, “Don’t Say You Love Me” also achieved success on Spotify’s global rankings. The song topped Spotify’s Daily Songs Global chart after recording approximately 5.7 million streams in a single day.

Spotify’s Billions Club recognizes songs that have accumulated one billion streams or more on the platform, placing them among the most widely streamed tracks worldwide.

Jin’s latest achievement puts “Don’t Say You Love Me” alongside other notable songs that joined the club this year, including Michael Jackson’s “Rock with You – Single Version,” Frank Ocean’s “Chanel” and 3 Doors Down’s “Here Without You.”
