That’s how “America’s Got Talent” official page is describing Jessica Sanchez’s powerful journey on AGT Season 20, where she is now headed to the grand finale.
The Filipino American singer was officially announced as one of the finalists on Sept. 18, joining a group of performers who advanced after weeks of competition.

The announcement was confirmed in a celebratory Instagram post from AGT’s official account, captioned, “#AGT finale here they come!”
Sanchez, who rose to international fame as the runner-up of “American Idol” Season 11, reminded audiences of what she can actually do during the semifinals with a performance of JVKE’s viral hit “Golden Hour” while pregnant.

Adding to the pride of Filipino viewers worldwide, Sanchez is not the only representative with Pinoy roots to reach the finale. Berlin-based dance crew Team Recycled, led by Filipino choreographer and creative director Jeff Jimenez, also clinched their spot in the finals.

The group impressed audiences with their dynamic and innovative routines, which earned them a Golden Buzzer during the quarterfinals.
The final showdown is set for Sept. 23, with the season’s winner to be revealed the following evening.
