Filipino American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo joined a global music initiative by War Child UK, an organization dedicated to assisting children whose lives have been disrupted by war.
The singer recorded a cover of “The Book of Love,” a song originally performed by The Magnetic Fields. Her rendition appears on “Help(2),“ a collaborative charity album spearheaded by War Child UK.
Accompanying the song is a music video composed of clips filmed by children from conflict-affected regions including Palestine, Sudan, Ukraine and Yemen.

The organization shared, “We made this album to help. You can help too. War Child works in 14 countries – from Gaza to Ukraine, Lebanon to Sudan – to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children living through war. All proceeds and donations from HELP(2) support the War Child Alliance’s work around the world. In the US, the War Child Alliance operates under ‘Children in Conflict’.”
Proceeds from the album will go directly to the programs of War Child UK, which works across various countries to provide humanitarian assistance. The organization focuses on delivering essential services such as emergency aid, access to education, mental health support and protection initiatives designed to help children recover and rebuild their futures.
The album “Help(2)“ features an impressive lineup of international acts coming together for the same cause. Among the artists contributing to the project are Arctic Monkeys, Filipino artist Beabadoobee, Wet Leg and Depeche Mode, among others.
